The Brother 1034D 3 or 4 Thread Serger with easy lay in threading and differential fabric feed a great sewing asset when it comes to finishing the edges and hems of your sewing projects.

This powerful and highly reliable all-white machine measures 15.3 X 13.1 X 12.6 inches and weighs eight pounds.

Choose from a four-thread overlock, three-thread overlock, narrow, rolled hem and ribbon lock stitches, as well as specialty stitch functions for formal and bridal wear, home décor and crafts and heirloom and reinforced tape applications. You can also adjust the width of the stitches from anywhere between five and seven millimeters from the left needle with just the turn of a dial so each craft is finished perfectly. There’s also easy to follow, color coded threading, with a lower looper threading system designed to keep the thread in place.

A removable free arm allows you to finish cylindrical items such as collars and hems with ease and a differential fabric feed ratio that adjusts from 0.7 to 2.0 with just a turn of a dial so you can finish anything from stretchy, thin or knitted fabrics easily. The 1034D serger has a great advantage over other models as it uses standard sewing needles so you don’t have to run out and pay extra for fancy serger needles.

This appliance is also extremely fast with a maximum speed of 1300 stitches per minute. Despite the high stitch rate the 1034D retains a high quality of output even at the top speeds. This makes this model a great tool for seamstresses that have a lot to dobut not a lot of time to accomplish everything. All of those features come standard with the Brother 1034D, making it an asset in the sewing room, but there’s a few more accessories to explore that come with this machine.

First, there’s a bilingual operation manual and instructional CD, an adjustable on/off knife feature that’s great for pintucking and flatlock; just flip a lever to use!  There’s also adjustable foot pressure, removable stitch finger, a brightly lit workspace, two accessory feet, a foot controller, an accessory bag with a needle set, four spool nets, tweezers, a cleaning brush, a hexl wrench and a trim trap.
